Lauren is a Crew Leader/Field Ecologist with Skylight where she is responsible for high level data collection for forestry and natural resource projects in California. Prior to that she worked for Tetra Tech where she served as an Environmental Scientist. She completed over 200 site assessments of damaged properties in Paradise, CA post Camp Fire. Before that she worked for the National Park Service where she completed risk assessment surveys for over 20 national parks throughout the West and coordinated with Park Service personnel at over 10 National Parks to share findings and fuels reduction treatments.

She also served as a Wildland Firefighter (Module, Helitack, Hotshot) for 4 seasons out of Yosemite, CA Green Mountain, UT. and Prospect, OR.  She has a strong working knowledge of prescribed burning, fuels management,fire suppression techniques and data collection throughout the West.

Lauren holds a BS in Biology from Fort Lewis College where she was a 3-time Collegiate Mountain Bike National Champion (2011-2012) and a Master of Environmental Science and Management from UC Santa Barbara.
